The AIS is responsible for leading and enabling a united high performance system that supports Australian athletes to achieve podium success. The Performance Operations Team manages the delivery of AIS high performance campus operations to support National Sporting Organisations’ Centres of Excellence, high performance camp activity and other related site activities.As the AIS Residential Coordinator, you will assist in the planning and delivery of activities to support athletes within the campus residential environment. Within agreed policies and procedures, you’ll provide a point of contact and first response for our long stay residential athletes as agreed with the sport and AIS.If you’re studying or a part time worker this position could be a great fit as you’ll primarily be working on weekends and outside of normal working hours. With onsite accommodation provided, this role presents a unique opportunity to support and enhance the daily environment for aspiring Olympic and Paralympic athletes.If this position sounds like you, our ideal candidate also should bring:Tertiary qualifications in an interpersonal degree or relevant experience working with adolescentsExperience working in a higher performing sport or other high performance environmentKnowledge and understanding of a high performance sporting and/or communal environmentDemonstrated skills in forming effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholdersSalary range = $47,858 – $59,303 per annum plus superannuation, plus additional allowances incurred through rostered work.This position is part time, working Fridays - Sundays and includes overnight cover. The position requires that you ‘live in’ at the AIS Residences when you are on duty to provide on-call overnight support.
