As Project Manager – Governance, Risk and Compliance you will lead the delivery of key risk management, internal audit and business continuity related activities. You will champion the risk management framework and practices to ensure they contemporary, flexible and meet business needs. You will also support the delivery of the annual program of internal audit, including monitoring of previous audits, fraud prevention and compliance activities and business continuity planning. You will develop relationships across the business and be called upon to provide advice and guidance on risk management and related activities. The successful candidate will have: Experience in risk management in government leading and managing areas of risk management, as well as corporate governance, strategic planning, or internal audit disciplines; the provision of timely, compelling and concise advice to inform executive members and senior management to support decision making; and managing financial resources, risk management, business planning and strategy development. Position is based in Canberra and will be available on an ongoing basis. Secondments from other Commonwealth Government agencies will be considered.
