Manager, Sport Infrastructure (Grants)

Sport Australia plays a central leadership role in the development and operations of the Australian sport sector and acts as the leading sports agency in Australia, building collaboration, alignment and effectiveness within the Australian sport sector.   The Sport Partnerships branch is accountable for connecting Sport Australia’s leadership and ambition for sport with government, connecting the sector to create innovative partnerships, and ensuring a strong, sustainable sport infrastructure footprint and provision of ongoing investment for growth.You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of investment programs for community sport infrastructure – including the management and operation of community infrastructure investment programs with a particular emphasis on management and administration of Sport Australia’s Community Sport Infrastructure grant program.The role takes functional responsibility for grants and investment design, delivery and execution as well as how Sport Australia infrastructure investment integrates and complements other federal, state and local government funding sources.  The role will align community sport infrastructure investment with National and State sporting organisations infrastructure programs to deliver increased participation outcomes.If this role sounds like you, please note our preferred candidate should also bring:Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in sport, business, grant management, planning or a related fieldDemonstrated capacity to work autonomously with responsibility for managing complex internal and external relationshipsDemonstrated as an effective functional team member and projects leaderDemonstrated experience including accountability for the quality of work undertaken for a team and proven ability to design, adjust and integrate individual and group work plans. Position is based in CANBERRA, SYDNEY OR MELBOURNE (two years, fixed term).Salary range = $90,203-- $103,998 per annum + up to 15.4% super.Employment benefits include access to priority onsite Childcare placements, free parking facilities and use of on-site gymnasium (Canberra Only).Applications close 5.00pm AEST Thursday, 22nd August 2019 (no late applications will be accepted). Job description Australia - ACT ACT
