The Sport Business division is focused on delivering the key components of the Sport Australia corporate plan - getting more Australians moving more often; building a strong and more sustainable industry; and supporting a safe and inclusive sports industry.
We’re after someone that can
- lead the development and implementation of short, medium and long-term strategies
- identify opportunities for growth, collaborating with leaders across our business units
- Analyse current operational processes and performance and recommend solutions for improvement
- Work with the team to maintain an overarching and comprehensive view of Sport Business’ engagement with its stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in leading strategic planning processes
- Strong strategic skills, with an ability able to shape and simplify complex strategic problems, provide relevant insights and pragmatic recommendations
- Proven record of managing, liaising with and influencing senior stakeholders
- Excellent leadership, communication, planning and organisational skills
- A demonstrated approach of transparency, discipline and results delivery
- Ability to work as part of a team and perform under pressure
- Knowledge of the sporting landscape desirable but not essential
Salary = $108,243 - $127,726 per annum + up to 15.4% superannuation.
