Assistant Director, Investment

Sport Australia plays a central leadership role in the development and operations of the Australian sport sector and acts as the leading sports agency in Australia, building collaboration, alignment and effectiveness across the sector.The Sport Business Division is accountable for enabling more Australians to move more often, delivering health, education and community impact. Building sport capability to create a robust, connected industry; driving a sector approach to growing participation; and investing in and monitoring the delivery of outcomes that make a significant impact on all Australians.As a senior member of the Participation branch you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Sport Australia’s Participation and Physical Activity investment packages. Key to this work will be your understanding Sport Australia’s priorities and your ability to identify how funding programs can be leveraged to achieve strategic outcomes such as those outlined in Sport 2030. You will be a collaborative person with strong communication skills and an eye for detail.
