The AIS Division is responsible for leading and enabling a united high performance system that supports Australian athletes to achieve podium success. AIS Operations will deliver targeted High Performance programs that provide unique, impactful and competitive advantage services across the Canberra Campus and European Training Centre (ETC). The programs will provide a multi-disciplinary approach targeting pre-elite athletes (particularly induction and confirmation), complex athlete injury rehabilitation, the altitude house and support for National Sporting Organisation camps. Additionally, development of junior scientists and practitioners in association with the optimal functioning of high performance facilities on its campuses is a key focus for value adding to the Australian high performance sport system. As the Science – Technology & Development Lead, you will lead, manage and develop a team comprised of technical support staff and junior sport specialists. You will design, develop and implement an effective learning and development program for multi-disciplinary junior sport specialist staff whilst being focused on the technical maintenance and operational aspects of the AIS high performance laboratories and equipment.
