The AIS Division is responsible for leading and enabling a united high performance system that supports Australian athletes to achieve podium success. AIS Operations will deliver targeted High Performance programs that provide unique, impactful and competitive advantage services across the Canberra Campus and European Training Centre (ETC). The programs will provide a multi-disciplinary approach targeting pre-elite athletes (particularly induction and confirmation), complex athlete injury rehabilitation, the altitude house and support for National Sporting Organisation camps. As an experienced and registered Athlete Psychologist, you provide supporting psychology expertise to a number of on campus programs including the AIS Medical Centre, Athlete Rehabilitation Centre (ARC) and duty of care support for residential long stay athletes. The role will also develop psychology content and be involved in delivery across AIS themed camps catering to national sporting organisations.We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following:Qualifications in Masters of Psychology with two or more years of counselling or clinical practise experience.Registration as a Psychologist. Appropriate endorsementDemonstrated competence and evidence-based counselling practice.Demonstrated psychological crisis management knowledge.
